Saw the movie. Very good. Not usual masala. Not usual "art" movie. Beautifully done.

Everyone is going nuts about IR music and BGM. I found the BGM to be "normal". Nothing that stays in my mind/heart.

Onnnukkonnu song by KJY is mind blowing. Not just the song, but the whole situation.

Myskin has done a great job, both as director and as actor.

Waiting for DVD from Ayngaran.

I've read that this is very close to the Japanese film Kikujiro. Will watch that, then watch Nandhala afterwards. It will be disappointing if this acclaimed film is primarily a copy.

I saw Myskin's interview. According to him, he was inpsired by Kikujiro.

Looks like had this story, based on his personal experience (his own brother) and was searching for the best way to tell the story and he found that in Kikujiro.

Havent seen Japanese film yet. I will check out the local libraries and see!
