Seems to be copied, atleast in parts, from 'The Prestige'. Is Sanjay Leela Bhansali capable of making anything original? There is no doubt he is a great visualiser and as a art director and songs director he is one of the best, but overall his movies are too melodramatic and way over the top. For those who may not know, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was the 'song director' for '1942 A Love Story'. He should have stuck to just that.

SLB is the music director too for Guzaarish?

Possible spoiler below
By the way, the story seems similar to Whose Life Is It Anyway http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083326/

Decent flick. But it's missing a strong soul and was unable to connect with me as an audience member. Maybe it's cuz of the excessive hangover from past Bhansali films or even the unnecessary ode to Prestige close to the end.

Very much enjoyed the performances though. Both Roshan and Rai Bachchan were great and were more than strongly supported by Roy Kapoor and Patel. (My wife and I like her a lot. Effortless performances. Too bad she doesn't do more movies.)

The film is a powerful emotional intelligence, emotional music, and seduces the viewer, of course, crackling, and a great screen chemistry between Hrithik and Aishwarya. Of course, the year's most insightful GUZAARISH dramas is one of deep and enriching.

Gawd this film was incredibly laboriousness to watch, it looks fantastic in HD with its impeccably composed frames, rich colors and excellent cinematography but unbelievably boring to watch :o

Then came HDDCHS and brought Mrs A Bacchan to fame ,
Heard that the Salman was expecting to lamd the hero's role but of course SLB gave to HR.
The only reason I watched the movie was because it was streaming on Netflix and cost nothing extra.HR failed to impress me :?
