Had Rakesh Roshan been directed this movie, it could be one of super blockbuster of all time.
I think Anurag will just waste the money.

As ordinary a director 'Anurag Basu' might be, he is still a better choice than Rakesh Roshan, who is just plain and simply a 'bad director'. I base my opinion not on just a single movie or two by Rakesh Roshan which might have been mediocre, but rather on his collective body of work which includes mostly outright crappy and trash movies. Just my personal opinion.

The trailers of this movie is amazing. Its my favorite star caste. People says that Hritik Roshan it getting hit due to his home production flims. But i am totally against this statement because I Hritik is born luck and talented. Well its music is out. Its songs are:
1) Zindagi Do Pal Ki
2) Dil Yeh Kyun Mera
3) Tum Bhi Ho Wahi
4) Kites in the sky
5) Fire
6) Fire English Version Song
Music by Rajesh Roshan touched to the sky before the film get release.

The boxoffice one day numbers of Kites (Friday May 21st) USA are: $340,000 ranking at No.10 (boxofficemojo.com) (Estimate)

This is against Boxofficeindia who reported Kites making $160,000 on Friday. (Usually Boxofficemojo.com is more reliable than boxofficeindia) for USA figures on bollywood movies.

My thoughts on KITES:

The cinematography of this film is superb!

The songs are lame.

Hirthik was good.

Barbara Mori was good.

Kangana got sidelined.

Action I thought was sort of uninspired.

THE CLIMAX WAS A MAJOR WTF? I don't think the audience was expecting that in a Hirthik movie and I think it could've been much better.
