Saw it this weekend.
It's extremely stylish, high gloss, tons of blasts & sound effects, aggressive surround and bass.

To enjoy this film, one must either like the plot or just ignore what the plot is. It's a reality TV or fear factor competition where it's pre-known that 20-30 % of the participants will die in each round and there is no exit till all the rounds are finished with just one survivor.

Initially I didn't like the plot violence, but after I came to terms with it, I thoroughly enjoyed the film. I think, among Indian films so far, this film has the best sound effects and visuals.

Film length was 141-144 min. (Theatre info said the film is 190 min; Saw the Censors Cert butI missed noticing film length).

Nothing to do with terrorists. Just a deadly game show.

I too found it the plot to be extremely ridiculous where participants know that most likely they will die by the time the rounds are over. I haven't seen any seemingly similar themed Hollywood films like Death Sport or similar, but there sure have been some in Hollywood.
Moreover, today's popular computer games/ PS-3/ X-Box games etc all are about senseless killing where you kill and get killed multi-times a minute (And the graphics are as real as real people).

As I said, I was disgusted in the beginning, but after I set aside the plot, I thoroughly enjoyed the film for it's style, glamour and effects.

"Because they themselves are going to die because of their actions" is no criteria to classify them as "Terrorists" or "Not Terrorists". If this was the criteria then all of us can be called "Terrorists" as we all are going to die one day because of our actions, living.

'Imran Khan jumped from plane onto moving train'

Wed, May 27, 2009 16:00 IST

Imagine jumping off an airplane and landing atop a moving train! That’s the stunt Imran Khan did for his upcoming action thriller Luck .

Gone are the times when the actors would cringe and happily let their body doubles take over in doing dangerous stunts for the camera. Today’s youth, and even some seasoned stars, like to do their own stunts, as much for cinematic authenticity as for their personal adrenaline kick.

Ask action director Allan Amin, who’s directed some of the deadliest stunts in Bollywood films for more than two decades. Allan nowadays is heaping praises on Imran Khan for pulling off an almost impossible stunt in director Soham Shah’s film ‘Luck’.
