The role was offered to Aditya Pancholi but for some reason he rejected it. His worse decision ever!

Aamir Khan was the only guy offered a Role, He didn't want to do the movie as he thought he wasn't buff enough for it. But the Tamil Actor Surya (was the lead actor in the Tamil ghajini/ Also did the voice over for TZP of Aamir Khan for the Tamil version) convinced him to do the Movie

Aamir Khan felt the Original Actors should still be in the movie,

Priyanka Chopra was to play Kalapana, but Aamir Khan wanted Asin who had Originally played the role in the Tamil Version

So while Amair Khan worked on his Body Asin was working on her Hindi

The Same Characters from Both Tamil & Hindi Version
Kalapana
The Police Officer
Ghajini

The Ending of both versions is different as the Hindi Ending was written again by Aamir Khan, I have seen bought Versions and Aamir Khan Ending was better. Both times the lead actors did a good job (Both Movies you can buy them from www.bollyman.com)

Sorry for any Spelling mistakes!

The ending in the Bollywood version was mixed. The climax fight was better, but the epilogue was too melodramatic and corny (Rainbow in the sky, etc..)

The ending in the Tamil version was also mixed. The climax fight was over the top, but the epilogue was left for audiences to interpret.

Both films have thier flaws and thier positives.

In Big Pictures Ghajini Spl Features disc, there are 4 deleted scenes:

1) First Revenge Killing
2) Meeting the Watchman
3) Kalpana Scolded Again
4) The Final Revenge

I haven't compared carefully but: Deleted scenes # 1 & 4 : I think they are in the main disc as well ?? Why label them "deleted scene" ?? May be the deleted scene is an alternate version or a bit longer in duration ??

Deletred scene # 2 & 3: I'm certain I saw these scenes in theatre.

Any clarification ??

--------------------
BTW, main feature is Progressive, 184 min 32 sec.

Deleted scene # 4 is in the main disc as well. But there is one minor difference. It has a white (read 'ghostly' :) )Kalpana actually walking though the location in which Aamir is lying wounded on floor.

#3 is a bit interesting one. The scene is the same with just a slight diff in dialogue: in original Kalpana simply says Traffic was 'too heavy' and so she got delayed. But here she says traffic was 'too light' and her Ad film director realises this only when he has finished scolding. Basically it just highlighted the prank pulling nature of kalpana even before she did the 'Tumbler vanishing act' in the scene that followed.

And ya btw, # 1 is just an extended fight and the watch man scene # 2 was not in the three different theatres that I watched the film in. Although the same is very well a part of the original Tamil Ghajini.

So I ordered this online and received it in the mail today. Lo and behold, it's the BIG Home Video (Indian) version (ss -p3). I haven't opened it yet, so I'm debating whether or not I should return it and buy the Adlabs version (ss - p2)

What do you guys think? Based on the screenshots, it seems like the Adlabs version is more crisp-- or is that just in the screenshots?
