If it's Warner it's likely a low bit rate affair. Even single layer is possible.

Personally I consider Warner to be the poorest amongst the major studios, except for maybe MGM, when it comes to the audio/video quality. Specially in the case of audio I have found their DVDs and now BDs to be of noticebly poorer quality than the average.

Word from the grapevine is that this film won't appear on blu-ray for some time. It was a big flop for warner.

Warner is a joke! I remember once contacting them about a DVD title and I had to go through about ten people to talk to then I got a reply, a week later!

Chandni Chowk to China (R1) in May

29-03-2009 14:37 | 414 views | Dave Foster | Show Backlinks

Warner Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Chandni Chowk to China on 5th May 2009 priced at $27.95 SRP. Chandni Chowk to China is an action-comedy about a simple cook from Chandni Chowk mistaken for the reincarnation of an ancient peasant warrior Liu Shengh by residents of an oppressed Chinese village.

The only extras are some deleted scenes.

Just got my DVD9...not bad quality I suppose. Progressive.
Only about 9 minutes of deleted scenes...that's it.

That menu screen makes it look like there are no chapter selections.
