Check it out...

It will be intresting to compare Kamal Hassan & Mohanlal with their Hindi Counterparts Naseeruddin Shah & Anupam Kher. All four are accomplished actors when working on a decent screenplay.

Doesnt look bad at all. I will love to see the clash between Kamal and Mohan, have they done any other film before? Looks like a Tamil Titan clash like Heat!

Will give it a check, any idea on the release date?

Who is Chakri Toleti? What else has he done?

I still have A Wednesday unwatched on my pile of DVDs I brought from India months ago. I'll have to watch it before the remake.

I am affraid that Kamal-Mohanlal combo would damange the content, even thought they are the best in their respective field, they have huge fan base and audiance would expect something more than Wednesday.

This could have been done better with Satyaraj and Prakash Raj (telugu) or Jayaraman (malayalam).

Chakri Toleti is a new director.

On hindsight it would have been much better if the production has used character actors in the Tamil remake. There are rumours of an English remake for BBC TV.

A Hollywood remake would be good!

I saw the trailer of A Wednesday when i went to see hindi Ghajini in Cinema and thought it was quite good. I wasnt going to watch it, but now its being made in Tamil, I'm going to watch it - I like to watch the original's before the remakes :-p

It'd be impressive for an Indian movie to be remade in Hollywood (Hollywood's got that trend nowadays with remakes from the east!)

I think it will work in the Tamil end. Some Hindi films could work there like Angaar
