When Ayngaran releases Dasavataram & Vaaranam Aayiram DVDs

These will be out on DVD in March 2009 (UK/Canada). Blu-ray versions will be end of the year.

Blu-ray will take longer as Indian negatives are in bad shape...even for newer films.

why now a day ayngaran taking loooooong days to release dvds

dasavatharam released on auguest its almost 5 months gone

then VV released on Nov

DVDs take long to release - due to copyright and royalities issue.

Also, the blu-ray of Vaaranan Ayiram has been delayed until further notice.

You can add Pokiri and Villu to the list. Villu Blu-ray will be released before the DVD version.

Vijay films aren't worth watching on a camera print VCD, much less Blu-ray

I decided to put Villu on blu-ray as its action and dance scenes are quite stunning. Also, box office takings were quite strong - and I hope this will be reflected on blu-ray sales. Personally, the film (like its original Hindi version 'Solider') sucked. Besides its a film directed by "Benny Lava"

Billa will be in April. Kuruvi will be either April or May.
