I agree 100% with Sanjay's review. Excellent and world class film. In my opinion, it could have been in English as well and it would have succeeded in the English speaking countries, main stream. Even in Hindi-English, as it is now, it would succeed in the art circuit, if released. A clean family film. No drugs, sex, alchohal, that you usually associate with rock concert theme films, and perhaps no smoking either. No romance, singing around trees etc.

I too, don't consider it to be a sequel. Actually it's Farhan Akhtar himself who said that he considers it to be a sequel to Dil Chahta Hai. Can't get the original link, but I found another site that had copied that Farhan Khan news article:
