So far so good. Also so much for Rediff's jumping to conclusions "Disaster" (Why do Indian papers make up verdicts)??
I think it's nothing but a personal attack on Akshay and his success. There is a deliberate attempt to cut him down by a certain group of people in the industry, no prize for guessing who. The fact is that he is by far the most consistent and successful star in Bollywood and has been so for a few years now. Although I don't particularly care for his normal brand of cinema, I still raise my hats off to him for achieving what he has without being part of any group.
I agree! Akki has been most dependable money machine for his producers, for whatever, atrocious films they churn out. Imho, CCTC will be a platform for Akki to be Jackie Indian Chan of stupid cinema with Marshal arts galore! But JC was making films him self and also, English Dubs and English language films give him fame. For Akki I will have to see, how successful he can be in this attempt. But again those Hong Kong flicks are pretty down dumbed at stories/plots and only depend on looks, cinema work and marshal arts, and for hindi cinema to attain that is not a big deal, just improve production quality, they r dumbed down any ways re their stories/plots.
