Script for unforgettable "Mumbai 26/11" ready, shooting begins in Jan

Producer-director B Subhash, the man behind Disco Dancer, Dance Dance, Tarzan and Dance of Love, has announced his next film, Taj Terror. Needless to say it is based on the recent 26/11 terror attacks.

It's less than a month since the tragedy occurred and the filmmaker is ready with a script. He says, "I had started working on the film immediately after the incident occurred. Though the script is almost ready I am looking for suitable characters now. I will begin shooting for it from January. A lot of actors will be required for this film."

Subhash says that apart from his friends, he has also established sources amongst various officials in the police, people working in the Taj Mahal hotel, Hotel Trident and Oberoi, who are helping him with information regarding the episode which will help make the film.

"The real heroes of the nation were the commandos like Sandeep Unnikrishnan. I will approach Shah Rukh Khan to play the commando in my film. I think John Abraham will best suit the role of one of the triumphant commandos, who came out after the tough fight with the terrorists inside the Taj," he says.

The filmmaker further adds, "My film will deal more with the emotional aspect of the episode and not just the episode itself. The terrorist Qasab, who created such a bloody mayhem in the city, is crying to go back to his mother while the Jewish child, Moshe has lost his mother forever. There is a tremendous amount of emotion in the entire episode."

And what role has he kept for his favourite actor, Mithun Chakraborty who has been a part of most of his films. "I will approach Mithunda to play NSG chief JK Dutt's role." Dream on Subhashji.
