Arshbhai,
Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the music more. I find Salim Sulaiman very under-rated and under-valued, so was very happy to hear that Aditya C gave them a chance with this soundtrack. And frankly, I don't think they disappointed at all.

I can still remember back when these two scored the background music for Hameshaa (pathetic Saif-Kajol film), I was amazed by their talents. And I've loved their work in Dor and most of Ajaa Nachle. But I do realize I'm in the minority here.

For some odd reason, their music doesn't seem to connect with other music lovers, and the soundtracks for both Ajaa Nachle and Rab Ne have received just middling reviews.

I agree! SS are talented! I found more quality in soundtrack of CDI, it was fresh and novel, if not hot/happening.

ANL was luke warm too, and Madhuri's return did require a CHART BUSTER imho.

I did notice SS with their collobration on MOKSHA but Roshans are habitual to acquire credit for others work :( I thought SS did do BHOOT back ground too? or was it MOHLE?

Recently, I was listening to both the crap GOLMAL RETURNS, and GOLMAL soundtracks as they were on same disc, even I did not like any of these crappy films in the first place, you can very well see difference between PRITAM and VS! and Why VS are better than PRITAM if quality is concerned and Rehman even not being the old Rehman still is the BEST COMPOSER of 2008.

Saw RNBDJ.

For first two hours, Just no story, no action, no music, no curiosity.

Anything that does develop, what the heck are the film makers trying to tell ?? That it's OK to marry someone with your own sweet will and then romance with someone else, an unknown punk, after marriage ?? And on top of that the film makers are telling that the husband will not mind all that and all will be forgotten, forgiven ?? No way. May be a case of murder suicide but not forgive and forget.

May be they forgot an additional character. A doctor who could examine heroine's and film maker's head.

Even Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna was not that absurd as it was kind of coerced marriage. And the couple was not happy. In the case of RNBDJ, both parties agreed to get into marriage as girl’s fiancé had died. And still, the new bride chooses a punk, to romance with, instead of her own father’s brightest student, her hubby who showed his love endless number of times ??

Another similar film HDDCS had a justification as it was a case of forced marriage against the wishes of the bride. And, after marriage, the couple mutually agreed to end their marriage and the husband did help her separated wife to find her lost boy friend.

Saw this yesterday and was somewhat disappointed. While I enjoyed SRK's perf (his meek office drone was definitely a good stretch for him and he was convincing) the film as a whole dragged. The meager plot was just too simplistic to stretch for that running time. I was hoping that there would be a more interesting angle than a dance competition but alas, that did not happen. Too bad.

I saw it recently and was really dissapointed. I dont really wanna get so much detail but I do feel like his dad, Aditya Chopra is losing it.

Tacky script, poor acting, one song u could call 'okay' and yes, very chessy dialouges!

Not a bad movie, story was not all that. I got the dvd last week and it stated it was a 2 disk set. Opened the box and saw only 1 disk, got a bit upset and then looked under the first disk. I can't believe they put 2 disk together, one on top of each other. YR is not that cheap to do that are they? DAMM
