Now that's all we need. another film from Ghai and then to top it off with Salman in it. Yeah right, we need this as much as we need the bubonic plague.

I hope ghaii, does not over stuff you till you throw up with music this time, like he did with kisna!!

Ghai, has problem, to try to OVER DO COPY of hot and happening like he did for KIsna, to OVER DO, LAGAAN/DEVDAS combo, and fell on his face!

IS it a bhondi copy of AMADEUS?

Music is ok, but downwards trend from Rehman, it is the worst of previous gulzar/rehman efforts imho.namely DIL SE and SAATHIYA.
But worst of rehman is over the top better than competitors

In KISNA, GHAI over FED The listeners and audiences till, they threw up!
Yuvraaj being based on music theme, is less than par the kinda topic will demand! :( But I am the CYNICAL one!

The only songs I don't like are Zindagi and Mastam Mastam. Shano Shano is catchy, but this kind of club number is not ARR's forte. ARR shines with fun dancy numbers when he is allowed to be weird or experimental, like with Pappu Can't Dance. My favorite tracks are Dil Ka Rishta and Manmohini, though the latter should have been longer. Its such a fantastic fusion number. It doesn't have the impact that Taal had, but its a very good album.

If you give me choice I liked ADA better than both. Mastam etc have overtones of Rehman, Gulzar's Saathiya or so.

I hope you agree with me?

Dil SE> Saathiya> Yuvraaj :)

Reason??? Changing music landscape ? ARR/GHAI trying to desperately fit in!or ARR has been tapped out of good tunes etc?

Over time, I might prove myself otherwise, but right now I'm placing Yuvvraaj amongst Rahman's rare collection of soundtrack that I don't much care for(ie. Dil Hi Dil Main, Kabhi Na Kabhi). It's sounds as if Rahman selpt through the entire making of this soundtrack. Quite amazingly, if Rahman was experimenting as he always seems to show, here, his chic sounds deteriorated.
