Bollywood Blvd TV program showed an interview with Deepa Mehta about her new film Heaven On Earth (perhaps being screened at Toronto Int Film Fest). Deepa Mehta described the film to be about the plight of lonely new brides where husbands go away for months/ years for work, career advancement etc. She said that the plot is about the common folklore that in such cases often a Ghost either as a ghost or in the form of the husband starts living with the bride.

Looks like the same plot as SRK's Paheli. Let's see if Deepa Mehta's presentation/ direction makes it better than Amopl Palekar directed Paheli ??
