Border DVD - Eros Vs DEI

Is there an exception to the rule on this one.

The other BORDER DVD thread started by Hero "Border [DEI] (DVD Shots)" has been merged into this thread.

Not quite. Border was of the first DEI/Eros DVDs - maybe one for the first Indian DVD to appear. The is on dual side single layered DVD aka a flipper. You have to manually flip the disc over half time. Eros/B4U is one sided dual layered disc.

Quality wise DEI/Eros DVD is better - better of the two - but both are bad DVDs. This is one review that got messed up in upgrading of the site;

http://www.zulm.net/modules.php?op=modl ... e=&order=0

..I'll try and fix it later on to get the screen shots up.

I actually have the single sided version of the ERO$/DEI disc. With animated menus versus static ones. DEI remastered the flippers to single sided ones, improved the quality a little bit and gave the discs animated menus.

Lucky you! If you had read urbanlegend's response (just one post above yours), you wouldn’t need to ask those two questions... and of course afterwards ask for further explanation on insinuations! :rolleyes: - are we learning and listening yet? :wot:

Now the question i wanted to pose was...the screenshots you havr from the DEI version..are they from your flippable version or the non flippable version ?.. Can u update the review then by providing screenshots from the non-flippable version also ? :sleep:

Drunk soul :D I was wondering the other day once in a while you're posts are completely out-of-sync with other posts you make - those must be the drunk day posts then :alien:

As for Border – I only have the flipper DEI/Eros version and the Eros/B4U DVD. If the other DEI/Eros DVD is significantly better then please do post some screen shots and I’ll update the review to include this info next possible chance.

Just for the record, in India, an Eros DVD is available (replicated by KRCD Mumbai, previously called Koches Rajes)... the sound is amazing in 5.1 but the (non-anamorphic) picture is butchered in more ways than one -- the worst being the cropping soon after the opening credits are over.
