i once bought the indus dvd of aks released in india which i returned to the retailer because it was the cut version. i recently bought the moserbaer - indus dvd of aks, and it too looks like it's cut...

the original theatrical version was cut during the second or third week. especially climax, and the interval was also shifted to another place. the shortened climax was very confusing, and it is this cut version that was on the indus dvd, and now also on the moserbaer - indus dvd.

AKS was re released by Z-EROS with PROPER 5.1, hard to find though.

may have good 5.1 but AR seems incorrect, pic seems squished.
indus and moserbaer-indus seem to have proper AR.
