Hey guys:

Is it possible to copy DVDs into VCDs that can be played in India using a VCD player?

Never done it before, but have seen posts by Faddy and Ali referring to DVDx which rips the DVDs to your Har Drive and then you can use an editor like Adobe Premiere to edit them and then finally use a program like Nero CD Burner (or similar) to burn a VCD playable in a DVD or VCD player. VCDs are not region coded therefore will play anywhere.

i converted a 90 minute DVD to VCD format using DVDx and took me approximately 8 hours... not really worth the hassle if u ask me
