Bhoothnath flops at the box office
B R Films' Bhoothnath starts off as a children's entertainer but ends as a sob story with a social message. So it does not cater to any audience, and fares poorly.

Mithun Chakraborty's son Mimoh made his debut in Jimmy, which fared best in West Bengal and single screen theatres.

Note: Films are ranked according to their release dates. The thumbs ups and downs reflect rediff's views.

Load of lies from rediff...how does a movie that is doing 90% on the Sunday be a flop.....watch how they will change their ratings in the weeks to come...it always takes rediff a very long time to give a hit status to a Bachchan movie, they've been doing it for a long time, be it bhagban, black, etc.

well, u might have a point re rediff, but might not save bhooton ka nath!

rediff publish 2 set reviews, one positive, one negative, since they had people eat from hands of Ghaii for yaadein  you take your pick :D really bad critic practice as usual.

bottom line is shit or crap? never mind! All it matters is if you enjoyed it with your $$

well am not sure if their reviews have anything to do with their box office. Regarding bhootnath...the movie is actually doing pretty well in India and is no way a flop...not anywhere near it... :D...it started off 50% on friday, 70% on Saturday and 90% on Sunday!

In reality Bhoothnath is two rather mismatched films in one. It’s a light film for young children with a much weightier adult oriented ending. Some younger children may find some of the later scenes distressing but they covey a clear message to more sophisticated youngsters and adults.

no doubt Bollywood knows how to screw up stuff! I am fed up of BR films trying to insert another BAGHBAN into BHOOT
