whoever authored this movie should be shot & killed.
they can't get the bitrate right.
aspect ratio is wrong in MY humble opinion
DD5.1 sound is below average
PQ is POOR...you might as well join EROS in that department...

next time Ayngayarnasdgfas wants to make a DVD9 set of a HIT MOVIE, send it to REM labs...

all sense of DETAIL IS LOST...all of it. do you guys NOT know how to use a mask?

and if REM refuses to do it for you...send it over to ELITE HOME VIDEOS...they put so many to shame all over the world.

they don't sell official Tamil DVDs in my area...had to special order...and EVEN if i ordered from online, i have to wait & wait...and also pay ridiculous shipping fees...

While I'll happily admit that REM's release of K3G is one of the best Indian DVDs ever, 99% of the rest of their output is pretty much garbage.

From my own impression of the screenshots, the Sivaji DVD quality seems decent enough and about the same as Ayngaran's usual standard. Detail is lacking, yes, but that's no different from any other release these days - including Eros's Heyy Babyy BD.

Out of curiosity where do you live.....

from MY eyes it's too tall (height-wise)...by maybe 4-6 pixels...yes i'm a stickler to details. i care about quality.

I'll take REM releases over the garbage EROS or YRF spew out...you'll have to admit that THEIR stuff is much better. Whether it is TOP-NOTCH is another matter.

@ last post...i live near Los Angeles...Cerritos is the city...about 1 mile away from Artesia, aka Little India. We have ONE south Indian DVD store...and all they stock are bootlegs.

I agree with stephen this release is in line with Ayangran previous releases! But that does not mean those were great either.

IMHO, it had been ages since they came out with a quality transfer, prog or otherwise. Now being part of zeros, you can multiply them with zeros=zero.

I still feel hey baby SD looked better comparing to zeros std dvds. while BLURAY is an utter trash!
