Is The Eros Dvd 16x9 Anamorphic?
Yes.
I don't remember despite being Prog, true 5.1 (as far as I remember) and anamorphic, if there was another version better than EROS one ??
zoran009 do you remember ??
Eros was indeed, prog, anamorphic 5.1. I believe there should be review or SS.But again was not DEI caliber transfer.

Preliminary impression
Good
- decent detail, but could have been much better
- full aspect ratio maintained and anamorphic enhanced
- extras: original theatrical trailer, making of feature (promo footage)
Bad
- soft video lacking 'DVD quality' sharpness
- muted colours giving the video a dull look
- poor shadow detail, dark scenes show dismal detail
- not the cleanest source used, speckles and other blemishes noticeable (disappointing for new film to DVD conversation)
- bad pseudo 5.1 sound mix, mono to 6 channels mix
