Finally saw it today, in theater. It was an interesting film. You wanted to know what's going on and what'll happen next ?? I don't think I understood the film fully. Perhaps reading the story book or concentrating a bit more would help.
It's symbolic, for example the letting go of the luggage at the end of the film while running for the train means "letting go of all excess baggage in order to move on". The train symbolised the journey.

Otherwise, I don't know what was the idea of casual sex while on spiritual journey ?? Also, I don't think it happens this way that a westerner invites an Indian girl for casual sex and she is more than eager ??
I don't know, but from what I gathered she had a boyfriend (who I thinks was the sikh guy or someone else who we didn't see) who physically abused her and that's why she wanted to get off the train. It basically showed she had problems so maybe she was using sex as a way to escape her problems, but I don't know, that's just a guess.

I was a bit late for the show and saw last 5-6 min of Part 1 of Darjeeling Ltd (Hotel Chevallier). The much talked about nude scene of Natalie Portman (Star Wars) was unclothed yes, but not really nude.
What do you mean? There was a close-up nude shot from behind, it think that qualifies as nudity, though not frontal nudity. Did you see it in India? They must've censored it then, like they censored The Namesake.
