Have any loose change lying around to buy "Om Shanti Om" rights, that Adlabs is reported to have offered 88 crores for ?? LOL

Reportedly, Adlabs has bought the worldwide rights of the film for a staggering amount -- Rs. 88 crores. Although everyone is tightlipped about the deal, a source from Adlabs denies that the company has offered that price to the producers of OM SHANTI OM.

BTW, SRK starrer DDLJ has completed 600th week run, and still showing, in one of Mumbai's theatres.

Actually I had wondered about that myself, but then it did not take me long to figure out that 'Zoran009 = arsh'. The posting style and language are way too similiar to be just a coincidence. Kyn arsh bhai, is that right?

indiafm's music reviews are bloated towards popularity index and also makers/banners hype!

They gave excellent reviews to both CDI AND LAGA CHUNRI MAIN as both are from big mushy banner!

CDI imho, had good tunes but was so hugely situational, that on popularity crap bus did not stand a chance infront of masalas by preetam, sel, vishal etc.

Laga chunri main, does not stand a chance infront of its predecessor's album, i.e Parineeta by Sarkar/Motre, no doubt VVC's touch is missing here! Lyrics are very good but tunes are mish mash of such a various styles and genre that you can not even tell, what is genre or period of this film. :o

:(

Nevertheless, OSO, is a decent listen, that group tried to create a masala, wholesome soundtrack, depending heavily on style of its predecessor MHN trying to indulge into todays happening stuff but some old world charm too. SRK/FK succeeded to come out with some thing that will grow on you and will get heavily benifited from visuals, hype and buffed up sarook! :D

On my original listen I will rate it 2 point below MHN, that I thought was 8.5-9/10.

ya , for sure, I couldn’t figure out what in world the songs from Laaga Chunari Mein Daag were conveying with so many culture tunes didn’t know how to relate to the jams. Just sat back and tried to let it all fuse n sink in mind. the more I listened the more I realized this music is rocky boat . Firstly, it began with a kind of smooth mujrah sound and then interjected a remix Hindi take on English tune (“even little children like Maryann down by the seaside MaryAnn”….(lol) then they added some weird peurto rican mucho chacha mambo jumbo tune, confused heck outta me. Kinda like off the wall far out world music fusion.
