..before the DVd starts. As you folks must be aware that some DVds have ads that cant be skipped. (e.g HDDCS, TUM BIN, Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega )..etc. Its quite annoying infact..but today accidently I found a way to bypass this using a tweak in my DVD player. The only thing i sacrificed was a fraction of a second of a jump in a few Hollywood DVDs.

I have an APEX 660 DVD. On the remote control you have a feature called PBC (playback control). The DVD player is programmed to read the DVd starting from the very beginning (including ads)..bypassing this u can directly go to the chapters and watch each chapter separately !... Of cos you may have to tolerate a few chapter breaks etc.... but pasand apni apni

If you can do some firmware changes to your standalone DVD player, then only is it possible. The one DVD player thats capable of skipping junk like ads is probably the Proceed PMDT, but it sells for around $6500 USD!

In the meantime, start the DVD, then go pour yourself a cold drink, get the popcorn ready and warm up your honey.
