It's also releasing on I-MAX prints, like all big films these days.

It's not just regular prints projected on I-Max screen but it's reg film converted and enhanced to I-Max standards, like 48 frames per sec instead of 24 and enhancing and transferring to I-Max film area that's 10 times reg film frame.

I and kids would like to see it ASAP but I don't have the patience to wait over 2 hrs to stand in the line up just to enter the theatre (even if you bought ticket in advance) for I-Max screenings. Will wait till Monday off peak hours, if any.

Well I quite liked the second movie and this third instalment follows the same structure as the first two even though they try and bend rules a bit set in the first movie. It's a good trilogy and keeps with the themes of first two movies. Again the baddies are not total baddies and I think there is just one too many in this third movie. Kids will definitely love it.

And if you don’t like this Spiderman, try this one;

I though it was quite good, but probably my least favourite of the three. It very much looks like the conculsion of a trilogy and ties up the loose ends, although I hear they may make a fourth film.
If you liked the previous two, it's pretty much on the same level. I thought the 'bad Peter Parker' was a fun character.

ali, if you thought that Japanese Spiderman looked silly, you need to see the Indian Superman. :lol:

Apparently the Spiderman movie deal is for 6 movies but cast and director are only tied down for the first 3 movies. Tobey Maguire has said he will only do more movies as long as Sam Raimi is directing them, Kirsten Dunst has said she doesn’t want to do any more. I can’t see Sam Raimi carrying on with a franchise that has taken best part of 7 years from his life.. but then again it’s a massive money spinner whatever happens the movies will keep coming with or without the cast (they have to subside the blu-ray format and PS3 from some where :bash: )

Mr_Khiladi: I've see them Indian Superman clips, been looking out for the full movie to no avail, looks right a good laugh :lol:

I just saw it (IMAX), and I really, really liked Spider-Man 3. If pressed, I think I'd say that the second is my favorite, and that the first and third are about tied (the third might be a little better overall).

I took a chance too, and was a bit better than what I expected after not liking the second, first was ok! But it was long, partly inspired from THE MASK, and bollywoodish melo dramatic partialy imho

Arsh, I don't think it was "partially inspired by The Mask," though I assume the scene you're referring to is, "bad Peter-Parker at the night-club."

Kuttappan, I can understand someone's not liking the film, but I don't get how you found Spider-Man 3 "boring"...

I found Spiderman 3 way too boring because they streched out a 30 mins story to over i don't know how many hours. Only interesting part was seeing Toby doing something different than a cheesy role. I wish the movie was maybe 30 mins shorter.

Lol, I thought it was like KHNH where sarook based on his heart condition should have succumbed in first half and hour, but man he had nine lives of a kitten, that made him go 4.5 hrs for umpteen reels :x
