IndiaPlaza has pre-orders available of Aap Mujhe Achche Lagane Lage, 21.99.

Pre-Order

Is Soven a good company? Will they do a good DVD?

P.S. What does the title mean in English? Just wondering. ???

"Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage" means "I have Started to Like You".

if the words are taken literally, it means "You have become desirable/attractive/nice/great to me".

I think Soven makes DVDs in conjunction with Spark right? If so expect a real 5.1 DD sound, hopefully combined with Anamorphic video. However Spark gets their DVDs authored by a company named Media Dimensions, who are responsible for many of the problematic discs out there right now (Dil Chahta Hai, Paagalpan amongst others).

Soven/Spark DVDs vary - they've done DVDs with DEI (Ek Rishtaa), with Super Digital (One 2 Ka 4, Champion, Ghaath) and many with Media Dimensions.

Soven/Spark/Bombay Music House/Samrat International/Media Digital Inc are all linked companies (or owned by the same people) and have the reputation of being the biggest fiddlers (read pirates :where: ) of Indian DVDs.

So who gets to author the Aap Mujhe Achche Lagane DVD will decide the outcome of the quality. And that’s usually dependent on how big the film is hyped/going to be!

Apparently it's pretty awful except for HR and the final
half hour of Rambo action (and the song "Hawaon Ne").

the movie is just another piece of garbage that will pile up. Nothing I would spend money on buying, anyways.
