It’s dependant on your ISP if it carry this newsgroup or not. If not, you can always request it. Get any one of these binary newsgroup downloaders and download away;

Xnews
FreeAgent
NewsPro
Newsgrabber
NewZMiner
News BinPro
News Shark

It's really depends on your ISP (internet service provider) and how/if they give to access to newsgroups. Basically there are thousands of newsgroups and not all ISP have the capacity to carry all them. My cable modem provider, by the off chance, has the complete set uncensored newsgroups including the binaries. Big ISPs like AOL and others will restrict access to newsgroups for various reasons especially the binaries.

But if your ISP don’t let you access newsgroups you can pay (the horror! ) for third-party servers – see a list on this site and what sort of other stuff gets carried on newsgroups;

http://www.binnewz.net/ (check under links for third-party newsgroup providers)
