it seems that these screenshots are taken at the resolution of your screen rather than the original resolution. try changing the setting so it captures at the original resolution and maybe that will help

You mean Shemaroo has good colours or bad? If bad, please note that my screenshots may have some problems ;-)

Overall PQ does not look much appealing but colors do look vivid , look at Bips dress in red! also, I do not know if AR is right?

I'm pretty sure Shemaroo must of authored the DVD for Eros at the same time when making there own DVD minus the EROS water mark and logo's and etc.
To the best of my knowledge, Shemaroo do not author their own DVDs... they get them authored by KRCD Mumbai or Anant Mumbai. Eros India too uses these authors. KRCD is now also being used by Excel Home Videos in addition to their regular authors in Taiwan.

Shemaroo watermark is present in every scene of their Omkara DVD, and I believe even EROS watermark is present on the EROS DVD of Omkara in several scenes.

Can someone post shots from the Eros DVD?

===============================

notes on shemaroo vs eros

Shemaroo has AR of 2.18:1 while the DVD-R shots on page 1 are of AR vary between 2.25:1 and 2.35:1. The Shemaroo can be said to be marginally? cropped.

Shemaroo's colours are more natural. Compare these shots - the top one is Shemaroo and the bottom one is the DVD-R shot from page 1 of this topic. See the colours on Saif's muffler.

The comparison isn't correct. Who ever took the Eros shots has used Vivid mode that is why the colours are brighter. When taken in original mode, the colour on Eros is close to Shemaroo only darker. I will take some shots from Eros dvd9 and upload for Ali soon.

SHEMAROO Image

...EROS........Image

Looks like Shemaroo colours are still better than Eros's ;-)

Check Saif's muffler -- it's still greenish in the Eros DVD shot -- even when shot in original colour profile... what do you say?
