i hate sync sound in indian movies like in khnh if you put on the dvd or watch it in the theater so many of thge dialogs are unclear and have the crackling noise in some of them same as in parts of masti. i wish the trend stops unless if they can make it like lagaan.

Sync sound will only improve if more people start doing it. Since it is not used much in mainstream films there will be films that don't use it well, but as time goes on it will improve. The solution isn't to stop doing it. ADR in Indian films usually sounds clinical and stale, with no change in the volume or tonal quality of voices.

There isn't much excuse for Hindi films not to use it, since the actors usually know the language, unlike in the South where too many heroines are from the North.

This is the FIRST TIME   I agree with IZZY!! The dialogues are most time not well detailed in Theatric presentation! On DVD you can compensate but not in THEATRIC!

LAGAAN DOCUMENTARY WINS NATIONAL AWARD!
Bollywood’s modern day classic gets another trophy!

It seems rather unbelievable, but Lagaan’s award winning rampage continues today! The documentary ‘Chale Chalo’ (otherwise known as ‘Madness In The Desert), which looks at the making of Aamir Khan’s Bollywood blockbuster, has won its director Satyajit Bhatkal the National Award for best exploration/adventure film for the year. Satyajit, who has just finished writing his next film, greeted the exciting news with shock and happiness. He expressed his delight to Radio Sargam over the telephone. "I was hoping that my editor wins an award, but I won instead!" he stated. "It is a joint award to me and Aamir Khan."
