Watched Pirates in DLP projection and contributed to its record breaking box office collection.

Typical summer action flick. It was my first time watching a DLP presentation. It was sharp, very bright and had amazing colors.
yup it was DLP projection and PQ was nothing I have ever seen before! But film was crap imho!
Pirates Of The Carribean: Local multiplexes have been showing regular film prints, as well as, DLP projections. It was hard enough for me to sit thru one screening (half asleep), so I don't want to see the other screening but for sure would like to know if DLP screening is considered better or worst ??
Or, does it depend on what kind of resolution is being used for the DLP projection ??. For example, wouldn't a HD res of 1980x1080P or higher can be DLP projected and also worst than 480i (NTSC) or even inferior can also be DLP ??
