btw, rana check your guys silvercity down there, i phoned the one here and asked if its in dd or dts and they said its in dts, it seems kind of odd before fannah it was all dd and now out of nowhere they started getting dts, oh well its better for me
if any of you are going before saturday evening give your guys take on the movie
- I did not ask the theatre which sound format it was, as it was quite obvious from the sound that film screening was in DD. There were distinct directional sounds at various times and mainly front channels most of the film. So far, in Ottawa, we haven't seen screenings in DTS audio for Hindi films. They never ask for or never get a DTS disc. Silver City thetres are equipped with both audio formats and good ones at that.
- Diff bet Hollywood and Bollywood Super Hero films is the romance/ song and dance sequences. So, I'd rather prefer Bollywood.
- Hritik - Priyanka travel through mountains/ hills on their way to meet Hritik's mother reminded me of RTGM sequence where Mandakini leads Rajiv to Gangotri. RTGM seq was much better and interesting.
- There are a few twists and turns in the plot, unlike Hollywood S H Films.
- Krrish plot is not like HW Super Hero plots where Super Hero is out to defend America and Americans. Here, it's for himself and his family, with just a hint at possible catastrophe if evil succeeds.
- Film ending was much better than what I expected.

BTW, kids comments:
First one: Krrih #1, Dhoom # 2.
Second One: No Way. Dhoom is still #1, Krrish # 2.
(For some reason, Dhoom clicked with my kids and Dhoom, as well as, Krrish beat Fanaa, VZ, SN, other SRK films, etc)
