Yet another request. Can you recommend a song that is suitable for young kids with classical elements?

A friend wants to choreograph a dance for my 2 1/2 year old daughter and her 3 year old friend. She doesn't want full classical because the moves would be too difficult, but she doesn't want full on Bollywood (with sexual lyrics)either.

I'm not good at remembering songs since most of them aren't subtitled, I can't seem to keep track of them! And I've only been watching since around '99 anyway. So I turn, once again, to y'all.

Might be an idea to go for some older songs ... at my sister's school a young girl performed the song 'Aplam Chaplam' from the film Azad (Dilip Kumar / Meena Kumari) on stage. It went down really well with the audience. The song is filmed on two sisters and I think that the DVD should be easy to get hold of. I have the song on CD so if you can't find the CD let me know and I can mail you an MP3.

Other newer ones - 'Chaiya chaiya' from Dil Se and 'Bole chudiyan' from Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham are both good ones for kids. If I think of any more I'll post them here.

I remember there having been a good song in Mr. India, with a bunch of kids.

maybe that song from kisna, who kisna hai or something like that i watched it on avs and little kids were performing it

dont know what would be good for your girl.... here are some of my suggestions...

Abhimaan (1973) - "Teri Bindiya Re"
Anari (1959) - "Kisi Ke Muskurahaton"
Khubsurat (1980) - dont remember the song.. but there is a cute song
Khoobsurat (1999) - "Aye Shivani"
Deewana Mastana (1996) - "Head Ya Tail"
Shagird (1967) - "Udke Pawan Ke"
Hum Aapke Hain Koun - chocolate song
Patthar Ke Phool (1991) - "Kabhi Tu"
Papa Kahte Hain (1996) - there are some.. dont known them byheart
Mera Saaya (1966) - "Jhoomka Gira Re"
Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993) - there are some songs in this movie that are good
Hare Raama Hare Krishna (1971) - there is brother-sister song
Dastak (1996) - there are some songs in this movie that are good
