No, they are two different movies! For a synopsis of Aish's
http://www.firth.com/lastleg_mm.html
The one Ali talking about is called " Warrior Queen" by ExxonMobil Masterpiece Theatre and stars Alex Kingston, Steve Waddington, Jack Sheherd, Hugo Spear..... This is about the Celtic Queen Boudica uniting all the Druid tribes to fight the oppressive Nero!
Two completely different story lines! :)

Ash is not in the cast for the last legion. Was her acting so bad that they deleted all her scenes from the entire movie?

Ali, Warrior queen has already been made and shown on British TV a few years back. No Ash in that one.

But Ash will be playing a warrior queen in Ketan Mehta's next 'revolution' film - The Rebel, where she will play Rani Laxmibai. But why did they choose her to play a warrior? She's so weak looking! I hope it doesn't look as cheesy as Kareena Kapoor in battle in Asoka. :x

The Last Legion is getting a wide release this Friday (Aug 17, 2007).

Close to 100 shows per day in Toronto and 20-25 shows per day in Ottawa.

Saw "The Last Legion" in theatre. Film was not great but not bad either. It's just what you would have expected from this theme film. Films with these Roman era war themes need to be heavily hyped to induce curosity, like "300" otherwise general public finds no interest in these subjects. "The Last Legion" was not hyped and the results were expected. Still, in it's 2nd week, the hall was half full. Not bad.

And Yes, Aish does have a substantial role. Not just an extra type role like Malika Sherawat in that Jackie Chan film (??).

Audio: End credits showed all three major audio formats DD, DTS and SDDS like most Hollywood films.

BTW, there also was a mention of "Cine Stereo" in the end credits. I wonder if it's another audio track (like back up audio for theatres that don'yt have DD, DTS or SDDS) or it's just a Company name that provided audio services or made CDs ??

besides aish's extended role, imho, nothing to take home. It is one of most boring/inferior of its genre
