Rakesh Roshan has a reason to be elated. Even before he has actually wrapped up the shooting schedule of Krrish, the movie is making big waves in the Bollywood market. Just recently we informed you of leading Music Company T-Series acquiring the audio rights of the film. Also Yash Raj Films have acquired the distribution rights of Krrish for some territories including Mumbai. If that wasn’t a great start enough for Roshan’s sequel to the blockbuster hit Koi Mil Gaya, now UTV has acquired the overseas distribution rights of the film. And if the buzz is to be believed Roshan has bagged in a whopping 7 crores for the deal.

Seems like Rakesh Roshan will cover almost his entire movie cost even before it hits the screens!

do you think UTV will take out the dvor yrf for overseas?

Half the budget is already paid by the Singapore Government. All my income tax go into Krrish  BTW I saw the trailer yesterday in the cinema during Rang De Basanti.

'Krrish' in Tamil and Telugu

By Vickey Lalwani ©2006 Bollyvista.com

A Still from 'Krrish'
Rakesh Roshan's 'Krrish' is being dubbed in Tamil and Telugu. Roshan Sr. feels that 'Krrish' is the right kind of film to dub and release in other areas, as it's full of thrills and excitement.

One of Roshan's earlier films- 'Karan Arjun' (Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan) was also dubbed in Telugu and did a very good business

Wasn't Kaho Na Pyaar Hai also dubbed in Telugu? Or was it just the CD? I saw a Telugu version of the CD in a shop.

Krrish´ Audio To Release On April 28

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The audio of Rakesh Roshan's much awaited sequel to his superhit , 'Koi..Mil Gaya' , 'Krrish' is to release on April 28 .

While on 'Krrish' , we have just seen the (melodious)first song 'Ao Sunaoon Pyaar Ki Ek Kahani' featuring the lead pair Hrithik and Priyanka Chopra and rendered by Sonu Nigam . It has been picturised in some of the most beautiful locales of Kullu-Manali like Solang Valley , Forest Reserve and also features the lifeline of the district , the Beas river .

The song has been composed by Rajesh Roshan , has lyrics by Ibrahim Ashq and choreographed by Vaibhavi Mearchent .

Incidentaly , Rakesh Roshan has moved away from from his regular SaReGaMa and opted for the more upmarket and happening audio company T-Series .

** I listened to one song promo, "" aao sunao" sounds melodious like Chacha Roshan style but kinda reminded me of "hhaey haaey" YRF

I knew those buildings looked familiar

This thing looked like a huge rip-off from the get-go. Matrix, Underworld (probably), Daredevil, etc. I don't know why anyone with access to these films would bother with Krrish :P
