Recent tamil movies got good reviews across various people/press. Films to watch

Thavamai Thavamirundu
Kanda Naal Mudhal
ABCD
Kasthoorimaan
Athu Oru Kana Kaalam

Not bad at all compared to 2004. Thavamai Thavamirundu is going to create another stir among the mass.

Sad thing is the nonstop rain in TN and all these films may flop! Hopefully that won't discourage people from making these kind of films....(where was the rain for Ghajini and Thotti Jaya....) :x

In SunTV news they were interviewing few ppl coming out of stadium and people were very upset. One of the guys said "i am coming in boat service from madippakkam and very much disappointed". So I guess the spirit of the people is at all time high in Chennai due to heavy rain!

For your viewing pleasure from yours faithfully ( images have been resample(d) drastically --- sorry ) . It is true that even with so much rain ..., people are in high spirits here ( at least one theater i saw was filled with people )

Flooded Adyar River

Cops patrolling bridge(s) all over chennai

Flood water over 1o feet height submerging shops !!

Slowly but steadily water started to enter into the auto-rickshaw i was travelling in ... , i had to walk for 2 KM after the auto stopped working and with camera in one hand - people mistook me for reporter from one of the satellite channel !!!

This has to be the most funny thing i saw !
