Were you finally able to locate Viramundi DVD AUDIO finally? If it ever existed?

Forget it man. Somebody made a big joke. Its really funny because in Tamil they attach "DTS" and "Dolby" near the title itself (and thats why I see lot of Tamil VCD having DTS and Dolby Logo) and they carry the same picture with these logs in CDs, VCDs, DVDs and even pirated VHS!

Kasturimaan audio released. All songs are good, but rehashed (late 80s). I think IR must have spent 15 minutes for all 5 songs.

In an interview last week IR said there is nothing new that he can do anymore in TFM, so he is trying to avoid movies, but still endup getting 10 movies in the last 4 months. He said he is going to focus on some interesting ideas he has got and focus on his musical heritage foundation.

Major deja vu, but the songs are alright.

TIS was more interesting than most of IR's film works in the past 10 years, except for some gems like Hey Ram, Pithamagan, Azhagi, and maybe a few others. I'd like to see more non-film projects from him.

Kasthuriman music in Malayalam (by Ousepachan) was very good too. Created a good mood for the film.

Yes, IR after seeing the malayalam version asked the director to take the movie in Tamil and he promised to score music for it. We have to see the movie (didnt see yet) to understand why IR got attracted to this movie.

COA is doing very good across TN. Everybody is praising the unexpected climax. Waiting for the DVD! huh!

I didn't know it was even released yet. I guess those of us outside India will have to wait for DVD.

Relased and doing very good. IR after seeing the movie asked TB to release the movie by himself and he is milking money now.

It was a very good movie, with a good and realistic female character, unlike usual movies in which females r just there for decoration. I'm not sure if it will work in tamil though, the hero doesn't seem to have the same chemistry with the heroine as in malayalam. I hope director/script writer lohi doesnt add too much masala stuff to please the masses. If he keeps the original intact, you have a very good movie at hand.

I thought kunjikoonan was better...but thats mainly because I love each of the lines that koonan speaks....they are so sad and funny @ the same time.

I bought the vcd of kasthooriman from http://www.anytamil.com. You may be able to find a VHS of it, in your competitors store. :D :D ...yeah I think its there.

It looks like it might never be out on DVD.
You'll probably end up seeing the tamil version before you ever see a DVD of this. And this film is really not about visuals...its a good story. Its allright even if you see it on VHS.

What was IR's contribution to Lajja? Did he just do the background score or did he compose any songs?

Title score and very few BGM. Title score was perfmed by symphony orchestra. Its pretty good.

FYI, The Hero programme launched by Richard Gere will be aired this Sunday in SunTV. The best part about this show was the ending song, which was scored more like a mini symphony, sung by various people including Richard King, ofcource by Indian Symphony Guru! IR.
