2 weeks from now is their constant reply. It should be released on 101st day of the movie, so it really is 10 day from now.

Checked out the movie after all the recommendations here. Thoroughly dissapointed by the movie. As with shankar's films the production values were great, but the story was a letdown and many of the scenes unbeleivable. Indian was a much better movie made along these lines. The first half was too long and prolonged. While the second half was better, it wasnt enough to make the movie memorable

I didnt see anything in there that pushed any technical frontiers either. Was wondering why people felt that it was five years advanced than other movies. It may have been five years advanced in putting together so many effects, but I have seen them being put together in a more aesthetic way.

The saving grace for the movie was indeed Vikram's awesome action. He did overdo it a little bit in the Brahmin lad's role. In some places he seemed to act retarded rather than innocent. Sada was miscast and looked out of place in modern costumes.

Finally I have to agree that the film has to be watched on the big screen to enjoy the production values

Anniyan in Hindi?

In tamil its average hit. In hindi it will be a disaster. Hope the producer realize it before its too late (unless they dub the movie)

Its a dub and not a remake. I don't think it will make waves like the old Shankar dubs did.

What, you mean that Hindi audiences won't like all the Iyengar stuff and the Thiruvayaaru festival? :D
