Could any one post a couple of screenshots of the following DVDs?

Hum (GVI DVD)
Shakti (Moviebox DVD) &
Suhaag (Moviebox DVD)
--------------------------
They are on sale at play.com and before I purchase them I just wanted to make sure the picture/audio quality is ok. I'm not expecting DEI or Shemeroo quality.

moviebox is same company as WEG, so screenshots will be the same for Suhaag and Shakti from WEG.
GVI of HUM is edited version, not full length shown in theatres. (try apollo)

SUHAAG- full screen (4:3 ratio)
HUM - widescreen 1:1.85 (non-anarmorphic)
SHAKTI - widescreen 1:1.85 (non-anarmorphic)

Quality may not be 100% same, not sure if Moviebox may have bigger combing problems then WEG. So I want to make sure.

Also does anyone know where I can get the Mard and Coolie Time and Tune DVD version either online or within UK??

Time n tune dvds found in India only, no reports yet of any on-line store selling these versions of Coolie/Mard to my knowledge.

Try Apollo version of Mard, it's better framed than TnT, and widely available. Quality similar to TnT. (see screen shots under Mard topic)

I bought Naseeb, Mard and Coolie TnT versions @ Video Palace in Mississauga, corner of Derry and Airport Rd in the Green Plaza, $15 cdn each.

Naseeb, Mard and Coolie were not originally shot in widescreen. I think only Desh Premee and Ganga Jamuna Saraswati were widescreen from all Man. Desai films.

I think you are wrong. Naseeb was shot in 2.45:1 cinemascope.
Coolie was shot in 1.66:1 ratio (I have original esquire VHS version in that ratio) while Mard was 1.33:1.

So I'm hoping Naseeb Time N Tune DVD will be in anamorphic widescreen.

There is no ratio of 2.45, i think you meant 2.35 for Naseeb. But I still think this is a wrong piece of infomation, check the framing of the film.

You might be right with ratios of Mard and Coolie, but they hardly qualify as 'WIDEscreen'. (not much difference to Std TV, so TnT will use 4:3 ratio like Apollo)
Just expect better picture quality from TnT, not wide pictures.

Coolie I also have on Esq. VHS, but has no scope (black bars)

I'm back home in Halifax now, so no access to more dvds. Naseeb is letterboxed but I think it's still cropped. Miles better than the baba DVD release. I was shocked Mard, Coolie and Naseeb got the decent DVD treatment. Now if TnT could do Mahaan.
