Ugh, I had forgotten that Amisha Patel is in this. How disturbing.

And even though I think Rani Mukherji's a fine actor, I can't bear the thought of watching her for the fourth time this year. Can you say overexposure?

'The Rising' to open Locarno Film Festival

A Still from 'The Rising'
Ketan Mehta's 'The Rising' is the opening film at the 98th Locarno Film Festival to be held from August 3rd to 13th in Switzerland. The film will also be a part of the competition section. Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Bobby Bedi (producer) and Ketan Mehta will be attending the screening.

'The Rising' is expected to hit the theatres on August 12th.

Did the bootleggers already get a copy of the film ??

Judging from the screenshots it does look 'good' - now if only they can hurry up and release the soundtrack sooner
