I failed to understand why everyone keeps saying the K3G DVD is a rush job. Come on guys it has been almost 3 months since the film was released, so it's not like YRF did not have enough time to release a good DVD.

I think he means the quality of the dvd (not a/v quality) screams of something just thrown together. Come on, no special features at all. Half the songs are subtitled, half aren't. Hell, there isn't even an inlay card listing the chapters.

They always do crap jobs on dvds.
They havent released a single dvd that can match DEI's
Hum Saath Saath Hain, Kaho Na Pyar Hai, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Ek Rishtaa. All of these were 2 disc sets. I mean come on they took over a year to make the mohabattein dvd and the transfer/sound werent a scratch on these DEI discs.
Look how long they took to make Dilwale Dulhania Lejayenge. They kept on delaying it and delaying and look at what they fed us. The menu's were tacky, the sound wasnt all that and the picture was very poor.

They try to fob people off by offering free postcards and cds.
They are idiots when it comes to making dvds. The only reason they released K3g quickly was that they wanted to sort of fight against piracy. If they really wanted to do that then they should have released the dvd straight away like videosound are doing.

There is going to be another version of this film with more extras but knowing these people, it wont be out for another year at least.

I haven’t got it yet :( I ordered from a R2 retailer, which will stick to a UK release date which is March 25th. But I wouldn’t take any review on here as gospel as I’ve said many a times the reviews are pretty much personal opinions (like any other review); take on board collective comments from all people here and make your own mind up if the DVD is for you or not. Hmmm I should have a politician :p
