Does anyone have the BEI version of "Shahenshah"? I want to buy the DVD — and know that DEI (now BEI) is the leader in quality — but I know for a fact that the Tip Top Video (TTV) version looks great. The BEI one, however, is much easier to get a hold of (also, it tends to cost much less). If someone does have it, please post some pics. Thanks.

BEI Shahenshah screen caps are posted in some thread. Search.
(Yes, I have BEI as well as Tip Top Shahenshah)

BEI Shahenshah is better than Tip Top. BEI one is Progressive (Film mode) where as Tip Top one is Pseudo-Progressive (Video mode) even though someone (perhaps clipper) did state that both are from the same telecine transfer.

how should i go about searching for the BEI "shahenshah"'s screen captures? also, is the BEI version in wide-screen, as well? how's the audio? from what i've seen and heard, the TTV has about as excellent an image quality as is imaginable. thanks for the words.

Tried search function and looks like BEI SHAHENSHAH screenshots have not been posted so far. But, I have both TT and BEI versions and BEI one is better. All this discussed in thread

Yes, it is wide screen and anamorphic.

Wait till you compare the PQ on large screen Progressive set up.

Film was mono, LPs were synthasyzed stereo. Not sure, but most likely BEI DVD is 2 ch mono. No false 5.1.

Wow, thanks a lot (for the link to the other post , as well). I was seriously cosidering dishing out almost twice as much for the TTV/TTE version; now, I think I'll happily spend the $5 on BEI's. Thanks again for the help; I really appreciate it. :D
