Last year, the person whose face adorned the front page of publications from Royapuram to Moscow was none other than Aishwarya Rai. Not only that, she has secured 9th place in the list of 50 most beautiful women in the world.

There's more to come. The Netherlands government has been eager to pay accolades to Aishwarya's beauty in some way.

So, they invited Ash to Amsterdam and named a pretty tulip with orange and yellow edges, after her. Hans van Driem, director of the Netherlands Tourism office, participated in the function.
