wow, thanks muchos! It's soothing to hear his voice. that's the first time I've heard him speak English! LOL! definite indian uncle! I'm going to order from that place, if I don't find it domestically(DU??:)). *drool*

the second mp3 sounds really good for a live performance! Is there a chance you could sneak me in Mayil Pola for now?? I still gotta hook you up with some Vidyasagar stuff, though he is definitely NO Ilayaraja!

again, THANKS MUCH!!!!

I am not hiding. I already placed order for both the CDs. Shall update my site as soon as I receive them (dvdisoil my pm that I was expecting some IR title was about these and TIS promo CD, which for some reason is "stuck". I am still expecting TIS promo posters and CDs)

BTW, we send few IR work (NBW, HTNI and few filmi albums) to few universities here for them to review and publish about his music, we are timing it so that by the time TIS release, if we have these publications from the universities, it will help TIS. Lets hope all goes in RIGHT direction.!

Three-in-One is a pretty good piece.

Musical Journey is not at the top of my to-buy list, but I will probably buy it after buying TIS, HTNI and NBW maybe a few film albums. I re-listened to a few tracks and I liked them more than the first time I listened to them.

You never heard that song Enna Paduvathu from Keladi Kanmani where he says, "Oh, Jesus, forgive them" :D

Is the Geetanjali non-film album available anywhere for listening?

Okay, CD is going to be $15, but for ZULMNI's I will give for $13. I will upload the site in a day or two (with customs/FedEx). For now I post the CD with $15, but if you are a zulmni, please mention the same and I will reduce the price.

btw, any one watched malayalam movie Guru. Someone recommended the songs to me and I listened to it. Aruna Kirana Deepam is simply superb and mind blowing. It look like some symphony work, good mixture of carnatic and symphonic forms of music. Anyone watched movie? How the songs are in the movie and how the movie itself?

Unfortunately they don’t ( not yet at least), I ordered from them (5 cds) and picked it up when I was in India. They are a mix of tamil/telugu/mal (?) - not everything is rare, but their efforts have to be commended. I will give you the complete track listing when I get back home.

hey, thanks much dvdisoil!! She sounds good, live. Music is VERY different from the film music, and I like it! I guess I will wait until DU gets the load.

I've heard the song, but I don't recall. I've only heard him sing in Tamil & Telugu. I've heard Geethanjali at raaga.com - the same album with songs "Amma Jananee Charanalayam nee" & "Kaamaatchi Karuna Vilasini"?? I've never successfully been able to find a legit copy of the CD, but I managed to d/l .mp3s of these songs few years back! do you have gmail account? or an email account that allows 10mb attachments?

Incidentally there are Filmi-non-devotional verisons of one of these songs, sung by Mano(Nagoor Babu).

project gem is interesting, and i've been waiting for something like this for a really long time! they even have a requests/poll! maybe dvdunlimitedonline should start a project of their own *hint* Project-Gem-USA

I am open for project-gem-usa. Lets create a seperate topic discuss the agenda and timeframe, so we all can participate.

BTW, dragunR2 was making fun of IR when he mentioned that he sang "Oh Jesus". BTW, IR is a gold medalist in western classical and studied in London and talks in English fluently. His vocabulary may be poor, but he communicate well.

Leave that guy alone - he did not even have a "formal" education let alone English. I know it feels funny when you hear him speak English, but it adds to the charm :)

I would be interested in brining over some of his rare films - so beam me up for project-gems-usa .

BTW anyone know if I can get the following flicks in any format ( cd/mp3)

Mahadev - Hindi
Kamagni - Hindi
Achuvinte Amma - Malayalam
Ponmudipuzhaiyoram - Malayalam

Thanks

I wasn't making fun of IR, just pointing out a memorable line in that song.

Achuvinte Amma mp3

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star mp3

The only sites with the AA CD I saw were based in India:

http://www.keralanext.com/shopping/cd/i ... id=PRem112

http://www.maebag.com/details.php?ItemC ... nte%20Amma

If anyone is interested, I can dig out one or two of the old IR Ramana Maharshi tapes I have and can try to make mp3s out of them.

Anyone know of good free software to record .wav files from a line input and convert to mp3?
