Can anyone confirm if Mithuns voice was used to dub the Mithuns parts? The reason I am asking, some have said yes and others have said no. It was heard that due to a dispute he did not dub for his scenes in the movie.

I recently got the DEI version of the DVD and it is the first thing that I checked and it looked like his voice. Anyone know for sure?

:o I think Mithunda dubbed for most of the scenes but many of them are questionable. I was very distraught when watching the movie back in 1989, was finally going to see Big B and Mithunda together but Mithun's role was atrocious. Wonder if it was the offer to work with a big banner like MKD films that lured him in or Bachan's presence. Songs in the film were good, qawali by Mithun and ek ek ho jaye are still a personal favorite.

Isn't there a good DVD of GJS by DEI out?

Mithunda was good in this.....but he certainly gave the BIG B a run for his money in AGNEEPATH !!! it must rate in his top 5 best ever performance 8) 8) 8)

 Yes AGNEEPATH was definitely one of Mithunda's best performances. A class above the action starrers he did in the late 80s-early 90s. I still wonder had Mithun not moved to OOTY and stayed in MUMBAI would he have won more awards after JALLAD and gotten many of the offers BACHAN has done in the last 10 years? Just imagine Mithunda doing films like BAGHBAN, KABHI KHUSHI KABHI GHAM, DEV, etc. I think he could have done a majority of the Bachan roles as good as if not better than the Big B.

well, I seen many movies of mithun and he could have been good as AB, but he axed on his own feets by doing shitty movies which don't even make a sense.

Most of his movies I saw in 2000 didn't made to theater but sure they were working in small villages, once I went to see that movie and they were also showing coolie of ab. we seen both movies in 2 and half Hours!

they just keep cutting and running. From those 2 and half hour mithuns' movie was 1 and half hour. all he did in movie was keep chasing for proofs to send bad guyes in jail finally in end, he just drives car in which all bad guys sitting and just leaves it on rail tracks. Kills all in one, and movie ends! 1 and half hour just to waste and all it took 1 minute.
