I recently heard Panjabi Hit squad's new album and I have to say I was quite disspointed, dispite all of the hype.

The music was weak in places, and the rapping was awful. Asians have yet to master the art of rapping (except for Asian Dub foundation who are a class act). many of today's British asian band's are trying to copy fellow black rap artists style rather then create there own stlye of rapping - which is why they are not going mainstrem. Asian groups should work with experinced rappers - Eminem did with Dr.Dre as Bubba did with timberland and it paid off.

Also if any groups are reading this please don't be another "So Solid Crew" type band there one of a kind and to copy them is lazy. Do your own sound....or at least innovate!

You know the people who did the album Panjabi hit Squad? Tell them to get some better rappers, or at least write better rap lyrics (and make them more controversial and meaningful to us young british asians.)

Will borrow the CD's you suggested off my mate.

Also sorry to hear about those bastards thieving your things.

BTW guys, I'd just like to know, how popular is the punjabi soundtrack B21-Long Overdue in the UK? I've heard a few songs from the soundtrack, it's pretty good.

B21s Long overdue album did take mixed responses!! basically we waited for the album for nearly 2 years! which ever niteclub you went to you could hear all the tracks to B21s album, but no sign of it materialising it!! When B21 finally released the album, it was just sooo outdated shit!! Nothing new on it at all.. it was a really let down seeming the songs are classics, and would have made a bigger impact 2 years earlier... :( Anyway the word on the street is the main lead singer of B21 has gone solo and signed up with a new record label.. this should be good, cos he was the only decent shit from B21
