Dragun, have u seen cinabella's titles e.g like LEELA directly transfered from so called HD?? I think not!!

I've seen Leela. It is about the only decent DVD from Cinebella, but for a supposedly HD-sourced DVD it was a disappointment.

We should all email Ayngaran and Sahara to use the HD master for the DVD.

So if end result is like this then from HD or beta master..does not matter imho.

Now if u get MK like dvd from HD master then it matters!

I met Illayaraja once when he came to a restaurant. A friend of mine introduced me to him. I presented him with a Pyramid version of IR's song collection DVD (wish Ayngaran released their DVD earlier). He is very short (less than 5 ft) and dark (as you can imagine). Just said vanakkam and nothing else. He signed the autograph and took picture.

What was upsetting was that there was a boy (16-17 old) sitting next to him (prob his friend's son), doing all type of things (blowing bubble to calling his friends etc), as if he was pulled into the restaurant. He probably doesnt know that he was sitting next to one of a very rare people born in the world. Huh.... :(

tamil distributors are boycotting the CD, because kamal is quoting 45 and they are not happy with the price, because it has only 4 songs. they are explicitly saying that "quantity is important than quality"

will be out in Hindi and Telugu next week.

You mean Rs. 45 for the cassette? Because that's very cheap for a CD :D

I think people will be buying this album anyways, but perhaps people will wait for the combo CDs and cassettes to come out to buy it.

yes 45 for cassette and 90 for CD (Chandramukhi was 45 for cassette and 99 for CD in India), but I am sure it will be a good collection for Jazz lovers. The sales will go up after the release of the movie, because lyrics seems to be so attached to the movie, so lets c....
