Is that film any good ?

Actually could someone tell me some really good malayalam films to watch ? What are the best one ? What are the must-sees ?

Can you please cofirm if the dvd includes a DTS track? I saw the DTS logo on the dvd cover but not quiet sure if AP included one.

4ThePeople movie is good and the songs are BLOCKBUSTERs, but the camera is handled with out any sense (if you have seen Agninatchatram climax, you will remember what a pain it was to see that 5 minute climax, but it is an extended version, the whole movie is like that). Even some of the recent tamil movies are coming like this (Madhurey). It look as if they have taken a 4 hour movie and trying to show all of them in 2:30 hrs so, they are forwarding the scenes. In addition, if you forward certain scenes (a lot of scenes in case of Madhurey), its like going forwarding at 64x :lol:

Good malayalam to watch? Most of the DVD released (close to 100) are good movies. I personally enjoyed KunniKonan (later remade as Peralagan in Tamil). I will leave it to the rest of hte folks to fill in the gap.

Interesting observation. Both Madurey and 4the people was edited by the same guy. :D

Old Mohanlal comedies - Kilukkam, Yodha, Chithram,...so on....
Anything with Meera Jasmine :D

Did you by any chance look at the telugu version as far as DVD quality. Being from NYMTV I do not have too many hopes
