along the same line...did anyone in the UK catch the zee tv showing of DEEWAR last nite ....the print so good it was atleast 100% better than the eros crap....times like this i wish i had a dvd recorder :twisted: :twisted:

As Ali pointed out, most likely they use the same master as they use for the DVD. Difference/ Reason must be that Zee TV broadcast in UK must have been PAL from PAL master where as DVD that is in NTSC must have been PAL to NTSC converted by field averaging.

Sure you will make a better PAL DVD by catching PAL broadcast from PAL telecine as opposed to PAL to NTSC converted field averaged DVD.
