Is there a scene where during that shower scene, the soap case falls down and neither AB nor SK tries to pick it up.. Armaan pls clarify

There is a joke in the shower scene in which AB tells Shashi Kapoor: "Yaad hai hostel ke bathroom mein bhi koi sabin nahin utha raha tha?" (Remember, everyone refusing to pick up the soap in hostel showers)... At the end of the scene, Shashi throws the soap on the floor and asks AB to pick it up. AB is about to pick it up but realises the joke and says to Shashi: "Teri to"

The scene ends there, neither of them are shown to pick up the soap!

Presumbly the joke have gay references of bending down to pick up the soap in a shower full of naked men!

According to his biography, it seems Raj Kapoor's most important criteria for the heroine of SSS was large breasts! His original choice was Hema Malini. Parveen Babi was elimnated on the basis that she was not well-endowed!

The original cast was Hema Malini and Rajesh Khanna. Being highly conservative, Hema Malini declined the offer when she realised how much exposing was required. Rajesh Khanna was invariably replaced as Kapoor couldn't forgive him for marrying 'Bobby' girl Dimple during the making of the film. And that's how brother Shashi Kapoor came into the role.

Legend has it, Zeenat Aman ended up in Raj Kapoor's apartment (uninvited) wearing next to nothing, drenched in water, to prove that she is ultimate in what Kapoor aspire for the role of Roopa in SSS. How she convinced him that she is the most suitable heroine for the role is better left to imagination, as Kapoor initially was not keen on taking her as her acting capabilities were often mocked in the film industry at that time!

Incidentally, the author of his biography goes on to mention that Kapoor was absolutely obssesed with breasts and looked for opportunities in exposing them in his films. Examples included Simi Gerewal and Padmini (Mera Naam Joker), Dimple (Bobby) and Mandakini (Ram Teri Ganga Maili)

But, coming back to Shashi Kapoor and Zeenat Aman...

I don't think they were ever personally involved. Although they became a frequently repeated pair (as you can see from the above list), most of their films together were not hits. Even SSS is a flop in relative terms!

Umm armaan, can you tell me where does Dimple expose her breasts in Bobby ? The best she does is reveal her clevage and that too it was a yucky clevagae at that age. The real delight comes when you watch Dimple, many years later in Saagar.... WOW ! I once posted a screenshot of that 1/2 sec exposure here on zulm ..Unf that screencap is no longer present

Yeah, just the wet bikini shots in Bobby... nothing like that totally nude quick flash in Saagar! I wonder how that scene escaped censor...
