The DVDs have reached UK. I will have a sample in the next couple of days.
The DVDs will be grainy since the DI and HD are grainy.

Wow being that UTV is distrubting the DVD themselfs nice to know they went all out with Parsad on an HD/Progressive transfer. Well now we wait and see the outcome.

If you copy the fedex tracking number listed for the DVD shipment and go to the FED EX website it shows that India Weekly is getting about 172 DVDs or shipments of this movie from Singapore!!

Found that to be interesting.. Was the Lakshya DVD packaged and all in Singapore?

Interesting ! If each shipment is 100 DVDs, there are 17200 Lakshya DVDs. Has to be a big movie !

The DVD was replicated in Singapore. I have one tomorrow. Report on Sunday. A friend
has seen some of it. He did not like the quality.

i just watched Lakshya (on a pirated dvd, nothing to do with the original dvd), i just wanted to say that, i loved the movie, i think it is very well done, yeah it is not near perfect but still well done, acting was simply superb by everyone

Does it mean, there is a R2 version and perhaps is in PAL like Metrodome ASOKA, Diaphana DEVDAS?? As mhafner mentioned, discs are replicated in Singapore, perhaps a PAL version is original and most likely progressive??

I'm affraid, for the NTSC region, we again will get PAL to NTSC converted field averaged DVD??
