So how many guys caught this and what do people think? Personally Shyamalan managed to hoodwink me again (the first time was in THE SIXTH SENSE)....it is not a classic like that one, but it is certainly recommended one time watch....

hey somehow i had the feeling the twist was going to be what it is.... i don't know why but just looking at shyamalan's past work and noticing all the clues, i knew the so-called shocking ending way before it even occured.

that said, it was a well made movie although there really isn't that much of a story. On the surface, the movie is all about the fears and paranoia of a tight-knit community but what is the real message? Sixth Sense was about isolation and friendship, Unbreakable was about friendship, loneliness and superheroes, Signs was about religion. But what the hell was this about? I understood what Shyamalan was trying to say, but the overall message didn't really amount to much in the end.

It is well directed, the scenery is nice, the cast is decent but it is way below Shyamalan's Sixth Sense and Signs. And it nowhere comes close to his best work - which is UNBREAKABLE imho.

I thought SIGNS was NOT THAT GOOD!

Didn't see it, but it got only 45% good reviews at rottentomatoes.com as of Friday!

THIS POST GIVES OUT THE ENDING, DON'T READ IF YOU PLAN TO SEE THIS TURKEY - Every village has an idiot this village has many including M.Night Shyamalan & all the innocent moviegoers who will pay thier hard earned money to see this crap . There is no surprise ending - bunch of rich folks pretending to live in 19th century (story take place now) running from life & crime in the big city and hiding in this village. There are no creatures, folks in the village are told of creatures so they wouldn't leave the village. Village is guraded by security and no flights are allowed over the village. This has to be one the worst movies ever.

M Night should stop writing his own scripts and start directing other writer's screenplays.
